The Ultimate Pre-Publish Checklist for Blogger SEO

The Architect’s Pre-Publish Checklist

In the Blogger Foundry, we don't just write and hope for the best. We build. Before you hit that orange 'Publish' button, every post must pass this 5-point inspection to ensure it’s ready for Google’s crawlers.

1. The 150-Character Limit Blogger’s Search Description is your site's elevator pitch. Keep it under 150 characters to ensure it doesn't get cut off in Google results. Be punchy, be clear, and include your primary keyword.
2. Surgical Custom Permalinks Never use the automatic URL. Switch to 'Custom Permalink' and strip out the "stop words" (a, an, the). Your URL should be clean: /seo-checklist-blogger.html instead of a giant sentence.
3. Image Alt-Text Optimization Click your images and hit the 'Settings' gear. Your "Alt Text" should describe the image to Google while naturally using your keyword. This is how you win in Google Image Search.
4. Header Hierarchy (H2 & H3) Google reads your headers like a table of contents. Ensure you have one H2 for your main points and H3s for sub-points. Never use "Normal" text for titles.
5. The "Silo" Labeling Assign 1-2 labels max. This ensures your post lives in the right category without creating duplicate content confusion for search engines.
⚠️ ARCHITECT'S NOTE: A post without a Search Description is invisible to Google. Never skip Step 1.

By following this blueprint, you ensure that every piece of content you produce is a functional part of your site's growing authority.
